My wife and I both bought jeeps this week from Dianne. She was hands down the most amazing sales person to deal with. It's a stretch to even use the word sales. She was so easy going, straight forward, and comfortable. She was great to work with. Everything- and I mean everything was so smooth. No issues. No beating around the bush. I love my jeep and I loved everything about the dealership. Exceptional trade, great cost on the jeeps, and above and beyond communication and service. Kudos to the entire staff here. I don't think I could buy another vehicle anywhere else.
I had a good buying experience in the beginning.. However it's been a mess. Brand new 2019 and the Bluetooth hasn't been working. Almost two months into it now and I'm still getting the runaround, no one knows what's wrong, no one's called me back. Horrible communication here. With everyone, from sales to service. I won't be coming here again for any reason. Super irritated, the service department is the WORST.
Decided to lease my first car, he was extremely helpful and helped narrow down my options. Wasn't pushy and honestly made it super easy. Only downfall, took a week exact to get the car i wanted, little frustrating but it all ended up good. Great selection and everyone was very friendly.
Over the years, i have purchased both Jeep wranglers, overlanders and Grand Laredo's for staff at my workplace as well as family. Always right there when you need them. Honest and you really don't have to haggle at all! Long family owned they are the best!
Ok so an update on my previous review. When I left that day they covered my lifetime deductible to have the rear defrost and replacement glass fixed. Because it had been previously documented. So that was good.
After returning home our radio/gps/u-connect stopped working. I was hoping maybe something got unplugged so called back and got an appointment a few days later. Upon inspection it was just poor timing that it crapped out and they have ordered a replacement that's covered under our extended lifetime warranty. They (Erik)even offered to pay our deductible. So long story short it would appear that their service department is moving in the right direction and theirs hope.
Let me first start by saying Dianne in sales is wonderful. As far as the service department goes we have had nothing but issues with them. They have had my Jeep since 10am yesterday and now I sit in the waiting room the following day waiting for it to be done. That's 11 1/2 hours the service department has had my vehicle to swap the back glass (because of defrost issue since we purchased it) and replace the front u joint. 4 to 5 hours worth of work and I'm still waiting at 11:30 the second day. They lied yesterday when they said the mechanic was working on it and hoped to have the front u joint done by the end of the day if not first thing in the morning. As of 10 this morning he still had not pulled the shaft out. Wtf. I love the sales people but WILL NEVER BUY a vehicle from them again BECAUSE OF THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Keep in mind last time we Purchased two Jeep unlimited wranglers. Never again
I did not buy my Jeep here I bought it at Savadore. My car is barely 2 years old so the work I needed was covered under warranty. I called my dealership where I not only bought this car but my last 4 or 5 cars and they couldn't even look at it for a week. Even knowing it was my only vehicle and I have to work and get my kids to school. I called Lahti's and not only could they get it in ASAP the next morning it was fixed by 10:30 am! On top of squeezing in an oil change with it! They have amazing customer service and I appreciate them getting my car in and back to me right away so I could work and take car of my family! I will go to them for everything from here on out! They gained a new customer for life!
I purchased a 2012 wrangler from them about 3 years ago and have had several issues. Aside from a missing bolt causing the crankshaft sensor to malfunction I was also told by the sales associate that I could ignore the traction control light that came on during the test drIve and almost every subsequent trip and never thought anything about it. Until this past month which it's been at a different dealership for service. When I told the mechanic I was told to ignore the light by Lahti's he explained that my tires were not rotating properly and proceeded to call Lahti's Jeep a bunch of idiots. I have had very negative thoughts about Chrysler because of the amount of service it's needed until I heard that. Now I'm thinking there have just been residual problems causing more problems over the years.
My wife and I bought a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee this past winter. Six months into ownership we're already on warranty repair #3. Yesterday the vehicle had to be towed to a different dealership as Lahti wouldn't pay for the extra towing charge (Chrysler covers 17 miles). When I asked Lahti service why, I was told, "We didn't build the vehicle." Nice customer service, huh? Yeah, we're done with Lahti.
If Lahti/Chrysler believed in their vehicles they'd up my warranty from 36,000 to 72,000. I'm not holding my breath on that one. Expect many more repairs to come. First and last Chrysler.
Do yourself a favor and buy a Toyota. We have had two Fore Runners and a Sequoia. Got 324,000 miles from the Sequoia, original transmission to the end. Life of the vehicles were just routine maintenance (i.e. oil, tires, brakes, etc).
We brought our jeep here for recall service that needed to be done at a dealership and we brought a coupon for a $30 oil change. It ended up costing over $700 (I don't know the exact amount. My husband was too upset to tell me.) They said there was an oil leak issue that needed immediate attention. There was no oil on the floor of our garage, or on our driveway and no alert light came on. I feel totally scammed since there was no evidence of an oil issue. Our vehicle gets serviced regularly, but not there, and our alert lights always work if oil is low. I hope I am wrong and they saved us from some sort of disaster, though we were given no evidence of it. This service recall visit was definitely a disaster to our limited budget.
I brought my Jeep to Lahti's for service after having a very disappointing experience where I purchased it. Issue was leaking (carpets ) - which was supposedly fixed by the other dealer.
The Service manager and my interactions with the people at Lahti's could not have been better! The manager acknowledged that the car was indeed still leaking, and that the carpets most likely needed to be replaced. (Jeep still under warranty) They also informed me that the rental car for the 3 day repair job, would be covered through warranty. (My previous interaction with where I bought it would not cover a rental and the $$$ was out of my pocket).
Needless to say, the repairs were done, and they really do provide great service. Would purchase my next vehicle here for sure. If you are considering buying, the service after the fact is what really matters!
